About This Event

A special night for friends and volunteers of The Water Well Project

Join us for an evening of inspiring speakers and mingling over drinks.

Our speakers for the evening are:

The Water Well Project is a registered NFP which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers by improving their health literacy. All our volunteers are doctors, allied healthcare professionals or final year medical students. Our vision is that all migrants, refugees and asylum seekers achieve equitable access to healthcare. Last year, we delivered over 45 sessions across Melbourne and are currently working to expand our reach into the Barwon region. We were also recognised for our contribution to Victorian health in the Victorian Refugee and Asylum Seeker Health Action Plan 2014-2018 (www.vic.gov.au/news/victorian-refugee-and-asylum-seeker-action-plan-2014-2018). In addition, we were proud to be finalists in the City of Melbourne Awards for Community Contribution.

We would love for you to join us, as a celebration and thank you our volunteers’ efforts and contributions to our organisation.
We hope to inspire you and allow you to connect with other volunteers and friends of our organisation.
Drinks and nibbles are on us- so please book in to attend.

We will then be heading to Campari House afterwards for a birthday celebration (possibly mine). 🙂
