This is a face-to-face session to be held in McKinnon, VIC, GEALC 169A McKinnon Rd.
Topic: Mental Health and Wellbeing
An excellent session to begin breaking down stigma often associated with mental health. Participants develop strategies to promote their mental health and wellbeing. Participants learn about the normal spectrum of emotions and how to recognise when professional help may be needed. Interactive activities include relaxation and deep breathing exercises.
This session will also include information about lung screening and is part of an AMHC-funded initiative to improve lung cancer screening access for CALD communities. Information will be provided to volunteers prior to the session.
