About This Event
We are hoping to increase session numbers in the Barwon region, so would love your assistance.
Please sign up if you are an Australian qualified healthcare professional (or final year student in a health related discipline) based in the Barwon region, who is passionate about improving the lives of people of refugee or asylum seeker background.
Similar to induction sessions in Melbourne, our induction session will include:
– Introduction to The Water Well Project (our organisation/ logistics/ how you can help)
– Working effectively with interpreters
– Introduction to facilitation
– Interactive session
– Q & A with experienced volunteers
“Introduction to refugee health” will be an online component.
