Do you ever wonder how to approach someone when you’re worried about their mental health? What’s the best way to start a discussion, and deal with these sensitive topics? To help answer these questions our Mental Health workshop is on again. Run by friend of The Water Well Project Geoff Ahern, who is a master MHFA instruction and senior mental health clinician with extensive experience in Emergency, Trauma and Psychiatric nursing as well as Drug and Alcohol counselling. This is an abbreviated version of the mental health aid first aid course- and a must for all healthcare professionals. Not convinced yet, read our volunteer review from last year’s session! 🙂
Cost- $20 for volunteers; from which profits will be donated to Beyond Blue.
