We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team in the capacity of (voluntary) Fundraising Officer. This member of the committee would be an official member of our Management Committee, who are all volunteers. The role of the management committee is in providing strategic direction and overseeing operations of The Water Well Project. See position description attached.
The Water Well Project is a relatively young and dynamic organisation. Made up of 14 committee members and over 300 healthcare professional volunteers; since starting in 2011, we have already delivered more than 300 sessions with the support of volunteers, public donations and grants. It is estimated that these sessions have reached approximately 3,000 individuals with flow-on effects to their family and friends. We were proud to be recognised in the Victorian Government’s Victorian Refugee and Asylum Seeker Action Plan 2014-2018 and to be named as finalists in the 2016 Melbourne Awards for Contribution to Multiculturalism as well as Impact 100 Melbourne 2016.
