2. What inspired you to become a volunteer with The Water Well Project?
I wanted a way to connect with the community I treat in a more authentic and less regimented way.
3. Please share one of your favourite The Water Well Project sessions or moments.
I loved doing a session on Mental Health and Wellbeing with a community group in Richmond, facilitating with a brand new volunteer recently. Was so wonderful to see their confidence grow throughout the session and see how much the community group appreciated their fresh perspectives.
4. What tips do you have for new volunteers?
5. “I volunteer because…”
Seeing each community devour the health knowledgevand grow in their confidence to navigate the healthcare system and their own conditions is so rewarding.
