1. What is your background (profession/ workplace/ training)?
My background is as an infectious diseases specialist - I work at the Burnet Institute.
2. What inspired you to become a Water Well volunteer?
I wanted to become a Water Well volunteer because I am a first generation migrant and grew up interpreting for my parents and know the importance of health literacy!
3. Please share one of your favourite Water Well sessions or moments.
My favourite moment during a Water Well session was when I got a group of students to sing their favourite song for 20 seconds whilst pretending to wash their hands.
4. What tips do you have for new volunteers?
My tips for new volunteers are to have an ice breaker game that is interactive and save lots of time for questions.
